(On the Right) Wes began his surveying career in 1994 as a rod man, knowing absolutely nothing about the surveying profession. It did not take long before he knew that “this” was what he wanted to be, not just what he wanted to do. He graduated from Southern Polytechnic State University (now Kennesaw State University) in Marietta, Georgia, with a degree in Surveying and Mapping in 1999. After becoming licensed in the state of Georgia in 2004, he started Hand Land Surveying Company in 2005. Wes has loads of experience supporting GNSS equipment as a former JAVAD sales agent. He has been a mentor for several young surveyors in the pursuit of licensure including his nephew Sammy.
